A former Labour Party Youth Officer, he is Managing Director of Montague Communications, which he founded in 1992. Montague Communications is an award-winning campaigning communications consultancy working almost exclusively with not-for-profit organisations, including trade unions, public sector agencies and non-governmental organisations. Pat has a first-class honours MA in Political Communication and he also lectures part-time on this course in DCU. While completing his Masters, he carried out extensive research on lobbying around the Budget process - including interviews with former Ministers, advisors, senior civil servants and lobbying organisations. Pat's work in this and other areas has been published in both academic press and general media. He is a regular contributor at academic and professional conferences, as well as in the media.

A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK, Yaw also has aN MA in Public Management from the Institute of Public Administration, Dublin. He has been employed with FAS in their Head Office since October 2000. Prior to coming to Ireland, Mr Dankwa worked in the Local Government (1996-1999) and National Investment Bank (1985-1996) in Ghana. His current role as a Financial Accountant includes production of FAS Annual Financial Statements for audit and facilitating the audit by the Comptroller & Auditor General’s Department. He has frequent dealings with the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment the Government funding Department for FAS. Yaw is the Head of the Ghanaian Community in Ireland, he is married and lives in Drogheda with his wife and four children.

Liz Joyce is an experienced HR function leader who is currently Head of Human Resources with Pioneer Investments a global asset management company. She has previously worked in a variety of organisations including Concern, Diageo and Greenstar (a subsidiary of NTR plc). She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD) and holds a Masters in HR Strategies from DCU as well as degree in Psychology from UCG. She has also completed Diplomas in Coaching and Business Finance. She has previously served on the governing council of Concern Worldwide.  Her main interests are in change management, leadership development and governance.

Jerry Moriarty joined the Irish Association of Pension Funds in 2007 as Director of Policy. As the voice of Irish pensions, the IAPF represents the interests of scheme members, trustees and sponsoring employers. Its members provide retirement security to over 260,000 employees, pay pensions to nearly 90,000 people and are responsible for some €63.5bn in retirement savings. Jerry was Head of Compliance with the regulator, the Pensions Board, for 6 years. Between February 1994 and October 2001 Jerry worked as a senior manager in various Pensions Technical roles with Sun Life Financial of Canada in the UK. He commenced his career with Irish Life in Dublin in 1989.

Originally from Malaysia, Logan has been living in Ireland for 30 years, was the first Mayor of Blackrock, sits on the committee of Friends of Calcutta, Friends of the Elderly, Southside Chinese Residents Association, the Bray Intercultural Committee, board member of Horn of Africa People's Aid, Deputy President Southside Chinese Residents Association, Bray Intercultural Committee, Member - Wicklow County Anti Racism Diversity Strategy, Committee Member - Ireland India Council, Committee Member - New Communities Partnership, Committee Member- Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Ethnic Minority Forum, and founding member and director of the United Chinese Federation of Ireland.

Rowe-(7).pngCEO of Educate Together since 2002, he was previously Chair of its board of directors and has been involved in the Educate Together movement as a volunteer since 1988. His professional background is in systems analysis and management in the security printing industry. Educate Together is an NGO set up to develop a national network of equality and human rights based schools in Ireland. Its schools operate on the basis of a legal guarantee of “equality of access and esteem to children irrespective of their social, cultural or religious backgrounds”. In the past 5 years, these schools have become the fastest growing sector in Irish education. Many of these schools operate in areas of great diversity in Irish towns and cities. Educate Together has undertaken three major strategic reviews since 1998.

One of the founding members of the Ireland India Council, he is also a partner in East West Commercial Enterprises Limited.
